Adam and his team at Hobart Contracting were fantastic to work with as they renovated the sunporch on our 1892 home in York Harbor. Adam was always professional, responsive and communicative, positive and calm, and he made the entire process a pleasure. We never doubted for an instant that he knew what he was doing. An old home has a lot of quirks and he made sure that we agreed with how he was going to do the finish woodwork which took some creative problem solving on his part. And when we wanted to add on a few smaller projects, he always had a “that’s no problem” attitude, installing a bathroom sink and counter top, and finding a plaster specialist to masterfully repair some interior walls. We were doing this renovation from 3000 miles away and Adam kept us up to date with photos and texts. We came back to perfectly finished small projects and a beautifully finished sunporch that we will be enjoying for years to come. He is already scheduled to redo a smaller porch and we will not hesitate to call him for all of our future renovations and recommend him to friends.”
